The Heavy Strandelhjørn Battery

Battery consisting of one heavy 24 cm gun on a concrete platform.
There was a munition storage and a charge storage. Beside this a very large room, blown by the Danish army 1921. Just the
 size of it, is interesting.
A room for the crew, with a caponiere and also a command station.
All that is left of the concrete platform, is a big crater. This crater refers to the demolistion, made by the Danish army. At
first it was blown with 2200 pounds of black powder, but this only lifted the platform a few metres.
A second blow had to be made.

Below: 24 cm gun prepared for road transport.
Barrell, carriage and platform on each carriage.
