 The Hønning Battery

 
The Battery had a length of 200 meters, composed of four 9 cm field guns.
 The guns were mounted in pairs, with large distance between them.
 All the rooms were made of timber and connected with a moat. In the bottom of this timber were laid
 because of the water in the battery area.
 The battery was situated west of Hönning.
 At the back edge of the battery moat, the rooms were placed. The rooms were connected to the moat
 by tunnels.  
 It is a fact, that the battery shot with shrapnel’s at had the same main target as another battery.
