 The Arrild Battery

Battery at a length of 250 meters composed of four 12 cm guns from Fort Höhe at Kiel. The guns were
 mounted on high carriages.
 The crew was naval gunners.
The battery was placed at Arrild Præsteskov,  replacing the battery at Højbjerg 600 meters north that
 was an impossible position.
We know the number of shells in the battery.

Pro geschütz                                 100 grenades
 Scrapnels
       50 pieces
 Kartäschen und Kartuschen      10 pieces

The battery had a test firing in 1917, and there was told about shelling around between the farms
 Lindholmgaard and Lindetgaard.
Another battery had a test firing that day.

The observation bunker was placed 800 meters west of Hønning.
